Gargoyle – Spitting Image

What a nasty, sadistic gargoyle to continually spit on the immobile fellow below. This is another two plate etching, enabling me to accentuate the foreground with a plate inked with black and to soften the background, creating atmospheric distance with warm colors. The town in the background is mythical, not Granada.
