Dreamworld-Piranesi’s Dungeon

This is the first etching I created for my Dreamworld Series. In college art school I admired, along with most students, Piranesi’s Carceri d’Invenzione (prisons)etchings. Those etchings were his creative claim to fame. Fifty years later those etchings inspired me to begin my Dreamworld Series. This series has a life of its own. I have wandered away from prisons to angels and ancient and mythical landscapes.
