Dreamworld- Digital Gateway

Barbara and I spent a month traveling through Italy and during that time I made many sketches of old houses, walls, churches and hillside village landscapes. That was the beginning of Digital Gateway. Partway through the preliminary drawing the image reminded me of a sketchpad cover I used to copy when I was eight or ten years old. So, I worked real hard to do a better drawing than my ten year old self. Also, on the trip I was amazed and saddened that so many of the eyes of the tourists I passed were glued to their cel phones rather than the beauty and history around them. Check out the guy in the lower right.
