My Muse

This painting and the linocut relief print that preceded it is inspired by my wife. The original drawing is in my sketchbook. I found it many years after I made it while looking through it for inspiration. I have almost all of my sketchbooks since I started college in 1960. I lost two books over the years. Luckily I haven’t lost her, she still inspires me.
